The Square D by Schneider Electric QO 20 Amp 1-Pole Plug-on Neutral Dual Function Circuit Breaker is designed to save space and installation time while meeting NEC requirements. This device combines two critical protections”Combination Arc Fault (CAF) and Ground Fault (Class A)?in a single, easy-to-install unit. NEC now requires both protections on all 1-Pole, 15 Amp, and 20 Amp kitchen and laundry circuits. Previously, this required separate devices, but the dual-function breaker reduces cost and simplifies installation.
The Plug-on Neutral design connects directly to the neutral bar, minimizing connections and installation time. Its innovative neutral clip eliminates the need for pigtails, freeing gutter space. Like all Square D CAFI breakers, it includes integrated Diagnostics, providing additional circuit information and helping streamline troubleshooting.
