These push-to-connect ball valves provide a fast, easy way to install a new or replacement water shut-off valve. A redesigned stainless steel collet retainer adds strength and durability and supports a 250 psi pressure rating. The fittings and valves do not require a PEX tube liner, and the re-engineered body allows the pipe to be inserted with less force. A single-lever quarter-turn handle provides quick control of water flow, especially in tight spaces. No soldering, clamps, unions, glue, or special tools are required. After insertion, stainless steel teeth grip the pipe securely while an O-ring compresses around the pipe to create a watertight seal. The valve can be rotated after installation for adjustments, and it can be removed with a disconnect tool for replacement or reuse.
