Description

GreensandPlus Filter System with Fleck 2510SXT AIO digital control valve uses Oxygen Chamber System (AIO) technology and natural oxidation to help remove iron without chemicals, aerators, or air compressors. This system includes a Fleck 2510SXT AIO digital control valve, 1″ stainless steel by-pass, 1.5 cu. ft. of Manganese Greensand Plus, one sleeve of gravel, and a funnel and cap.

GreensandPlus media has a manganese dioxide coating that creates a highly oxidative environment for iron and manganese treatment, and the media is backwashed and reused. The system is also described for hydrogen sulfide removal, and GreensandPlus can be used for arsenic removal in the presence of iron and for radium removal in the presence of manganese when appropriate pre-treatment conditions are met.
