Applications:
1/2″ PEX-AL-PEX Tubing is commonly used for radiant heating applications projects such as concrete slabs (wire mesh or rebar reinforced), thin slabs (non-reinforced), below the subfloor heating (staple-up), sandwich type installations (between subfloor and finished floor) and many others.
Typical loop length for 1/2″ PEX-AL-PEX varies from 250ft to 350ft, depending of the application, supply temperatures, flow rates, etc. 300ft is considered standard for typical concrete slab install.
Compatibility:
PEX-AL-PEX tubing can be installed using compression style PEX fittings of Press type system (fittings, sleeves and tools).
