This product does not meet the new low-lead criteria defined in Safe Drinking Water Act and cannot be used forpotable water applications, including for drinking and cooking. This product can be used for non-potable water applications only.1/2″ Complete hose mender is a 2-piece fitting (union) with a rubber washer. Can be disconnected if needed. For use with 1/2″ ID hose (vinyl, PVC, rubber, etc.). Can be secured using standard worm-gear or cinch (pinch) steel clamps from Oetiker, Ideal and other brands.
