Description

The Jacobi Catalytic Carbon Filter System with Fleck 2510SXT Digital Control Valve is a configurable water filtration system designed to help remove chloramines, hydrogen sulfide, taste, odor, and chlorine from potable water. The system includes a Fleck 2510SXT digital control valve, 1″ stainless steel by-pass, 1 cu. ft. of Jacobi CX-MCA catalytic carbon, one sleeve of gravel, and a funnel and cap. AquaSorb CX-MCA is a catalytic, high-activity granular activated carbon manufactured by steam activation of select coconut shell charcoal. Its large micropore volume makes it well suited for low molecular weight organic compounds and chlorinated by-products such as chloroform and other trihalomethanes, while extensive dedusting helps provide a clean activated carbon product.
