Their high strength-to-weight ratio and superior sag resistance eliminate the need for traditional 1/2″ sag-resistant ceiling panels. USG Sheetrock 1/2in. 2×2 Drywall Panel have long edges tapered on the face side to form a shallow recess to receive joint compound and tape.
