About This Product

This underground 1/2 in. conversion fitting makes it easy to connect compatible yellow polyethylene gas pipe to male pipe threads. Simply cut the pipe, insert the included stiffener, slide the pipe into the fitting, and tighten it down. It is designed for outdoor underground gas pipe applications and can be used to connect to existing steel pipe or add a reducer.
